Con questa guida andremo a vedere come aggiornare il Samsung Galaxy S manualmente alle varie versioni del Firmware  disponibili.

Ecco come fare:


Requisito per questa guida è have installed the Samsung Kies.

Once installed, set the debug port on the phone, and attachiamolo to a USB port on your computer.

you install the drivers for the functions to debug usb.

And now the instructions:

1. Download the firmware version of your choice and unpack everything in a folder
2. Turn the phone on the USB Debug
3. Turn off the phone
4. Remove the SIM from your phone and present any microSD
5. Turn on the phone by holding down Volume Up + Power button + Home button
6. Odin Start by double clicking
7. Connect your phone to the PC on the USB cable. Odin will recognize the phone and the Monster that is connected.
8. Check the Partition Re-entry (point A)
9. Click PIT (B), and select the appropriate PIT will be given to use for the firmware you are installing
10. Click PDA (letter C), then select the file to upload to the PDA phone.
11. Click PHONE (D), then select the file to be loaded on your PHONE.
12. Click CSC (E), then select the file to upload to the CSC telephone.
13. Mash START (F)

about 5 minutes, and the phone will do all the operations of the firmware update. Wait until you restart the phone until the screen returns to request the release of the video. At this point, you can manually rispengere the phone, reinsert your SIM and if you have the microSD.
